They make you feel awkward and uncomfortable. Maybe it’s been years and you’ve added some extra pounds and wrinkles. Basically, life happened and you’re judging yourself.
Many photographers make it YOUR responsibility to look good in front of a camera. (Remember the last time your company brought in a photographer?)
But I work differently. I got you. Every step of the way.
It's MY responsibility to capture you at your best, and coach you to get there. And I take fabulous headshots of “not photogenic” (their words, not mine) people every day.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION
Guidance. We’ll go through your wardrobe together to find some awesome combinations, all while debating life’s mysteries.
Lighting Perfection. Every person is different, so you’ll chill out in front of my lights while I fine tune them for your face. If life is a game of inches, headshots are a game of millimeters.
Coaching. I’ll teach you a few simple techniques and act as your mirror throughout the session, guiding you into the best poses.
Laughing. I say lots of dumb stuff to you to get you having fun. Maybe I'm funny, maybe I'm not, but you can laugh at me if you want.
Instant Reviews. I’ll stop a few times to review images on the computer with you to make sure you like what you are seeing. My #1 priority is that we get results that you’re super happy with.

The short answer is to bring everything you like wearing and makes sense to your audience. Bring options and we'll audition them in the lights! Generally we shoot chest up so shoes/ pants aren't important. Layers are great because we can mix/match styles. Most people also bring a semi-casual look in addition to professional looks.

Images are purchased a-la-carte at the end of the session. It's in your best interest to get the right images rather than some set package number or even worse - a folder dump of every frame taken for you to sort through on your own.

The right background for your headshot is a very important stylistic choice. Because the session is not limited by looks or time, you'll be able to try a ton of options to make sure you get what you need. The most common backgrounds are white, grey and black. We also have options for solid colors.

There is ample street parking all times of the day.

Your images will be available for download two weeks after your session via a private gallery. Rush retouching is available for an additional fee.

No problem! Disregard any prior experience with “team picture day” and fill out the group pricing form. We’ll have a conversation about what will be most effective for your marketing goals and logistics.
